Construction of 11 new dwellings proposed for site in County Kildare

Planning permission is being sought for the construction of 11 new dwellings at a site located in County Kildare.

According to documents lodged with Kildare County Council, applicant Mill Road Estates Limited is seeking permission for the development at River Walk at lands to the south of Coughlanstown Road and the Naas Road, in the townland of Ballymore Eustace East, Ballymore Eustace, County Kildare.

The development will consist of amendments to a previously granted Planning Permission Ref. 18/1347 at the Village Centre Site (Phase 3).

This would comprise of the amalgamation of the medical clinic with the retail unit, including revised signage to the front and rear elevations, and alterations to the medical clinic design including the provision of five consultants’ suites.

Planning permission is also being sought for the omission of the Design Centre and the replacement of same with five additional dwellings.

This would providing a total of 11 dwellings in this phase, as follows: two Type B1 four-bedroom two storey detached houses; four Type B9 four-bedroom two storey semi- detached houses; three Type D two-bedroom single storey detached houses; and two Type F two-bedroom dormer type semi-detached houses.

In addition, permission is being sought for associated amendments to road works, parking, footpaths and cycle facilities, drainage, hard and soft landscaping, and all associated engineering works necessary to serve the development.

The date received on the application is listed for as September 7, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as October 11 and November 1 respectively.
