A Heavy-Good Vehicle (HGV) has been seized by gardaí in Kildare due to weight concerns.
The official Garda Traffic account on X / Twitter said: "Naas Roads Policing Unit were on patrol in Kill when they saw this overweight HGV.
"It was stopped and it was found to be six tons overweight, it had no CVRT, no tax for 21 Months and it had 21 dangerous faults, including cracked brake discs.
"It was seized."
"Court to follow," the account added.
