On Culture Night, in Athy Library, ‘The Night Johnny Cash Came to Town’ is your chance to discover more about the country legend’s tour of Ireland in 1963. Using the original set list, the Johnny Cash concert in Athy will be recreated with people who were there on the night. Country star Shane Sullivan will lead his band in the songs. Between songs, locals will talk about the excitement of seeing this global superstar in this small sleepy Irish town.
