A number of Local Property Tax (LPT) nominations were put forward at the latest Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District meeting.
Fianna Fáil (FF) councillor Suzanne Doyle nominated for €1,000 to go towards the First Responders in Kildare town.
This was seconded by FF Cllr Anne Connolly.
Cllr Connolly also nominated €1,000 to go to Milltown Tidy Towns, which was seconded by FF Cllr Rob Power.
Fine Gael (FG) Cllr Peggy O'Dwyer nominated €1,000 to go to Newbridge Lyons Club, which was seconded by Sinn Féin Cllr Noel Connolly.
Social Democrats Cllr nominated €2,000 for Newbridge Kenpo Karate Club and an additional €2,000 for Athgarvan Women's Shed.
This was seconded by Cllr Noel Connolly.
FG Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer nominated €2,000 for the Kilcullen Lyons club for €2,000 and €2,000 for the Kilcullen Bridge Cinema.
Both of her nominations were seconded by Cllr Noel Connolly.
