Kildare-resident Maria McDonald has invited all-comers to celebrate the launch of her new novel, Tangled Webs.
Set in Belfast in 1922, where McDonald is originally from, the book tells the story of two war widows who run a boarding house for young women.
It is the second book to be published by Bloodhound Books UK. The launch will be held in the Riverbank Arts Centre on Saturday October 7 at 5:30pm, as part of the Kildare Readers Festival 2023.
Tangled Webs was released on September 1 and has already gained great reviews online. Paperback copies will be available at the launch from festival bookseller, Woodbine Books.
The local author is also a founding member of Ink Tank Writing Group, based in Newbridge library and contributed to their anthologies, Timeless in Kildare and Let Me Tell You Something.
