Gardaí have alleged that a suspected haul of drugs worth an estimated €360,000 was discovered in County Kildare.

Judge Desmond Zaidan was told about the details at Naas District Court on Thursday, September 28 last.

The accusations relate to Dallandgshe Mersini, with an address listed as no fixed abode in Newbridge, but who is currently remanded in custody.

It was heard that the 18-year-old woman, who appeared via video-link, stands accused of being discovered with the suspected haul at a property in Brownstown in the Curragh on August 1 last.

Gardaí added that it is believed that the suspected haul is made up of cannabis.

Judge Zaidan adjourned the case to October 5, in order to allow time for directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
