An untaxed van with defective brakes and gears which was being driven by intoxicated driver has been seized by gardaí on duty in County Kildare.
According to the official Garda Traffic account on X / Twitter: "Naas Roads Policing Unit stopped this Van on the M7.
"It was found to be untaxed for 736 days and had two bald tyres and had defective brakes and gears."
The account continued:"The driver also tested positive for Cocaine and was arrested.
"The van was seized.
"Court to follow," the account concluded.
