KILDARE: Restaurant in Newbridge officially closes its doors, sale to follow

The Market Kitchen café and restaurant, which is located beside the Whitewater Shopping Centre on Cutlery Road in Newbridge, has officially closed its doors.

According to a statement made by the management, the venue closed down for good on Sunday, October 22 last at 5pm.

However, the management also said that a sale on household kitchen items, such as glasses, cups, cutlery and pots, will take place at the venue this Friday (October 27), between 10am and 2pm.

Commenting on the initial news of the closure, the management said on a past Facebook post: "It's with heavy hearts that we would like to let everyone know that we will be shutting down our business on Sunday, October 22.

"From all the team here at the Market Kitchen, we want to say a huge thank you to all of our customers for all the support you have given us over the years."

They concluded: "The outpour of kind messages and support have been very appreciated."

"We wish everyone the very best."

The management also shared a photograph of the team to commemorate the last day that the café would be operating on its official Facebook page.

The photograph was accompanied by the following caption: "Thats a wrap! A huge thank you to our wonderful team who worked tirelessly until the very end and who care so much about our customers.

"A wonderful crew... shout out also to those who are missing from the photo!"
