A Kildare based firm has been appointed to build a new DART station in south Dublin.
John Cradock Limited, located in Kilcullen, has been awarded the contract for Woodbrook DART Station which will be located between the existing Shankill and Bray stations.
The estimated construction value of the project is €5m, according to the Construction Information Service database.
The 32nd station on the DART network will serve the local community which will see its population rise to over 5,000 people due to housing development.
The station will include two platforms with platform shelters, seating, lighting, CCTV, ticket vending machines, a public address system and customer information signage.
The station will comprise of two sets of staircases, ramps and a footbridge.
