KILDARE: Dublin resident accused of making alleged criminal damage threat in Newbridge

ACCUSATION

The alleged offence took place in the Highfield estate area of Newbridge, gardaí claimed.

A County Dublin resident has ben accused of making a criminal damage threat against a person who lives in Newbridge.

Stephen Harold, with an address listed as 7 Foxborough Drive in Lucan, Dublin.

Gardaí alleged that the 19-year-old had issued the threat over a debt owed for drugs at an estate located in Newbridge on October 22 last.

Mr Harold also faces an accusation of being in possession of an unknown quantity of cannabis for the purpose of sale or supply at Rowanvilla on Eyre Street in Newbridge on October 9 last.

Judge Desmond Zaidan adjourned the case involving the accused to November 2, to allow time for directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Defending barrister Aisling Murphy noted that her client has not made an application for bail at present.
