The allegation was made by gardaí who appeared at Naas District Court on Thursday, October 26.
A suspected cannabis haul worth over €15,500 was found near Robertstown.
That's according to gardaí who were present in Naas District Court on Thursday, October 26 last.
Gardaí alleged to Judge Desmond Zaidan that Anthony Dunne, of Ballyteige North near Robertstown, stored the suspected drugs at his home.
They added that the suspected drugs were discovered following a search conducted by gardaí on the 34-year-old's home.
The estimated value of the suspected cannabis is around €15,574.
In addition, gardaí said that an 'air-rifle' was seized from the property.
After a book of evidence was served by gardaí on the accused, Judge Zaidan sent the case involving Mr Dunne forward to the present sittings of Naas Circuit Criminal Court.
He remanded the defendant on continuing bail until the case resumes.
