The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Betty) Hughes (née Lalor)

Abbey Road, Baroda Court, Newbridge, Kildare / Kilcullen, Kildare / Tullow, Carlow.

Formerly of The Derreen, Mill Street, Tullow, County Carlow and Calverstown, Kilcullen. 

Peacefully, at Naas General Hospital. 

Wife of the late John, daughter of the late Patrick and Mary and sister of the late Marie, Seamus and Fintan. 

Sadly missed by her loving daughter Fiona, grandchildren Ailish, Evelyn, Clodagh, John and Diarmuid, sisters and brothers, sisters and brothers in law, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May Betty Rest In Peace.

Betty will be reposing at her family home from 3pm on Tuesday with Rosary at 7pm.

Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors on Wednesday morning to arrive at St. Conleth's Parish Church, Newbridge, for requiem Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Crookstown Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) McKeever

Ballyonan, Broadford, Kildare.

November 5, 2023, peacefully, in the care of Sancta Maria Nursing Home, following an illness.

Predeceased by his father, Robert and Mother Mary Rose nee Miggin and his brother Robert.

Loving brother of Joseph, Patrick, Christopher, and sister, Kathleen.

Deeply regretted by his sisters-in-law Bernie and Frances, brother-in-law Jimmy, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grand nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Mick will be reposing at Murty O'Neill & Sons Funeral Home, Derrinturn, W91 X2N0, this Tuesday from 3pm to 5pm, followed by removal to St Mary’s Church, Broadford, for prayers at 6pm.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 midday, followed by burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

November 4, 2023 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of St Vincent’s Hospital, Athy. 

Predeceased by his loving wife Mary.

Sadly missed by his son and daughters Kathleen, Mary, Carmel, Martina, Rita, Alison and John, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Herbert and Michael, sister Ellen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Anderson & Leahy’s Funeral Home, Newbridge, from 4pm on Monday with prayers at 7pm. 

Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St Brigid’s Church, The Curragh for Mass at 11am.

The death has occurred of John (Johnny) Flood

Ballinadrimna, Broadford, Kildare.

November 3, 2023.

Peacefully after a short illness in the care of The Regional Hospital, Mullingar.

Johnny was predeceased by his sisters, Bridie and Teresa.

Deeply regretted by his brother Peter, sisters Maisie and Kathleen, sister-in-law Anne, brother-in-law Gerry, nieces, nephews, especially Teresa and Damien, relatives and many friends.

May Johnny Rest in Peace.

Johnny will be reposing at his brother Peter’s home on Monday evening from 4pm, concluding with a Rosary at 7.30pm.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday in St Mary’s Church Broadford at 12 noon and burial immediately afterwards at Ballinadrimna Cemetery.
