RIP to the late John Joe Conway, George Cooney and Marie Ellis (née Lyons).

The death has occurred of John Joe Conway

Tobarbàn, Kildare Road, Rathangan, Kildare.

Peacefully, in the special care of the Palliative Team at 'Solas' Naas Hospital.

Predeceased by his much loved wife Rose.

John Joe will be sadly missed by his daughters Celine and Órla, son Raymond, cherished grandsons Seán and Liam, brother Leo and sister in law Peg, Órla's partner John, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at McWey's Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare town from 3pm on Friday with Rosary at 6pm followed with removal by Glennons Funeral Directors to arrive at the Church of the Assumption and St Patrick, Rathangan for prayers at 7pm.

Funeral mass on Saturday morning at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Rathangan.

The death has occurred of George Cooney

Balyna, Cadamstown, Broadford, Kildare.

November 22, 2023, peacefully at his family home aged 92 years.

Predeceased by his parents William and Annie, his son William and his sister Renee (Bourke).

Beloved husband of Mary and loving father of Kevin, George, Anne, John, Rory and Conor.

Deeply regretted by his sister Ann (Cosgrave), his bothers in law Jimmy and Billy (Carey), sisters in law Lucy (Dempsey), Bridget (Bermingham) and Betty (Carey), daughters in law,son in law, grandchildren Aaron, Ethan, Luke, Jordan, Megan, Daniel, Georgina, Iris, Pearl and Robyn, his two great grandchildren Aaliyah and Roisin, nieces, nephews, relatives and his many friends.

May George Rest in Peace.

George will arrive to St Patrick's Church, Johnstown Bridge on Friday evening for Funeral prayers at 6pm.

Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 midday followed by burial afterwards in Kilshanroe Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, with donations, if desired, to Acquired Brain Injury Ireland.

The death has occurred of Marie Ellis (née Lyons)

Celbridge, Kildare / Dublin.

November 21, 2023, (Celbridge and formerly of James St, Dublin).

Peacefully in wonderful care of the staff in St James Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her mother Hennie and sister Phylis.

Beloved wife of Aidan and loving Mam to Adele and Wesley, Wesleys partner Jessica, her father Kit, brothers James, Martin and Michael, sisters Ann and Bernadette, her adored grandchildren Fionn and Leo, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Stafford’s Funeral Home, Ballyfermot on Friday, November 24, from 2pm to 4pm.

Removal on Saturday morning, November 25, to Church of St James, James Street, arriving for 10am Funeral Mass followed by Cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium at 12 o'clock.
