New bus stops due to be constructed in these two Kildare regions

New bus shelters will be constructed in Athy and Newbridge respectively.

Commenting on the first shelter, Kildare County Council (KCC) said that it would be commencing the works at Kilberry, Athy, County Kildare.

KCC added: "Day-time works will be carried out between Friday, November 24 to Friday, December 1.

"Temporary Traffic Management will be in place for the duration of the works.

"Kildare County Council wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused during this period."

Regarding the second shelter, KCC said that the works would commences at Moorefield Crescent, Newbridge, County Kildare (Bus Stop 136991).

KCC further said: "Day-time works will be carried out between Monday, December 4 to Tuesday, December 5.

"Temporary Traffic Management will be in place for the duration of the works."

"Kildare County Council wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused during this period," KCC concluded.
