It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

A number of Christmas Fairs will take place in Newbridge, Monasterevin, Kilcullen and Kildare town this week.

If you want to get some Christmas shopping done instead of leaving things to the last minute (we've all been there, no judgement), here are the best places you can go to fulfill your gift-buying needs:

KILCULLEN

The Camphill the Bridge Christmas Market will take place at The Bridge Community Centre in Kilcullen (R56 R744) this Thursday, December 7.

Organisers of the Market are currently looking for vendors.

Limited spots are available.

To confirm your place, please DM the official Facebook account of Camphill Communities of Ireland.

Note: Public and Product Liability insurance is required.

The Market will run from 1pm until 4pm.

KILDARE TOWN

Kildare town Community School will also be hosting a Christmas Market on Thursday, December 7.

The event will raise funds for the further development of the school's physical therapy room, which is located inside it's Acorn Centre.

The Market will feature home-made crafts, local produce and Christmas gifts.

Entertainment will also be present at the event, and you will be able to visit Santa Claus!

Those who wish to visit Santa must scan the QR code on the poster below.

The Market will take place at the National Stud and will run from 4pm until 8pm.

The Junior Einstein's Science Club will also host a Junior Scientist Fair on Saturday, December 9 in Kildare town.

The Fair will be held in association with Into Kildare.

In addition, the Kildare Wildlife Rescue centre, which is based in Kildare town, is hosting a virtual sale on idonate.

NEWBRIDGE

KARE's Newbridge branch will host a Hand-crafted Christmas Market beside Newbridge Silverware on Saturday, December 9.

Baked treats and produce will also be on sale, and a raffle will be held in aid of KARE.

The event will run from 11am until 5pm.

On the same date, the Kildare and West Wicklow Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (KWWSPCA) will be hosting its own Christmas Market at the Ryston Sports and Social Hall, which is located on the Athgarvan Road.

Attendees will also be able to visit Santa!

Small businesses welcome at €30 a table.

Tickets €10, and a non-refundable deposit is required.

For further information, please ring 087 674 5099.

MONASTEREVIN

Lastly, a Christmas Fair showing off baked treats, crafted goods and gifts will take place at Monasterevin Community Centre (W34 FH24).
