PHOTO GALLERY: Craddock House Residents and The Moat Writers Branch Out!

Craddock House Residents and The Moat Writers Branch Out! On Mon. November 27, the residents of Craddock House Nursing Home, together with their families and friends gathered to celebrate the launch of Branching Out.

This delightful collection of poems and memoir pieces launched by Fr. Liam Morgan, is the result of a year long collaboration with The Moat Writers. The stories in this collection will bring the reader on an unforgettable trip down memory lane. We travel from
school rooms heated by turf fires to the pilgrim pathways of Lough Derg, down the Grand Canal and on to the glittering ballrooms of romance. The reader can savour again forgotten pleasures; potato cakes smothered in butter, Easter simnel cake and coffee from Fletcher’s Commercial House.

Branching Out is available to buy for 10 euro from Craddock House Nursing Home with the residents kindly donating the proceeds to St. Vincent De Paul.
