KILDARE: Writers group publishes new book

Dee Scallan and Eoin Armstrong at the launch

The Naas Creative Writing Group recently launched their collection of writing -  Cuisle Chill Dara, The Heartbeat of Kildare Volume 2.

The completion of the anthology marks the 10th anniversary of the setting up of the group. It follows the publication of an initial collection in 2019.

The launch was held in the Naas community library, and it was the last official event to take place at the canalside building before the facility moves to the local town hall.

The publication is a symphony of short stories, and poems, showcasing the diverse talents of its members.

It is on sale in Barker and Jones, Poplar Square, Naas, as well as  The Elms Punchestown and Woodbine Books in Kilcullen.

It can also be purchased by sending an email to Mary Whelan at naascwg1@gmail.com.

The book costs just a donation from the sales will be made to St. Brigid’s Hospice, The Curragh.
