KILDARE ANIMALS IN NEED: Happy New Year to supporters and volunteers

Andy from Fluffy Paws Doggie Daycare visited the KWWSPCA shelter with a donation of dog food, toys and money. He got a warm welcome from rescue dog Jamie

Happy new year to all our supporters from the volunteers at the KWWSPCA.

Our Kitty Cottage is starting off the new year with an open day on Saturday the 6th of January from 12pm to 3pm. We have lots of lovely cats of different ages available for adoption. Pumkin and Spice have enjoyed their Christmas with a foster family and are now ready for adoption.

They are full of energy and personality. They loved climbing the Christmas tree, and will make beautiful pets. Please visit our website for adoption details. We are so lucky to have had brilliant foster families who took home cats and dogs over the Christmas time and looked after them so well.

In most cases our rescue animals were going to homes where there were other pets, so they had a great time.

Having a good network of foster families is very important to us, particularly for dogs who can be stressed when they come into our care, and find the shelter environment hard to adjust to.

These dogs will always thrive in a foster family home and we thank all the people who support us in our year round foster programme.
