Gardaí said that the accusations relate to Anthony Quinn, 33, with an address listed as Camira, Mountmellick, Co Laois and Dylan Carmody, 25, with an address listed as 46 Kilmalogue Park in Portarlington.
Judge Desmond Zaidan was told about the allegations at Naas District Court on Thursday, January 4 last.
It is alleged that the two defendants were allegedly caught with the suspected drugs haul, for the purpose of sale or supply, at a property in Grangenolvin, Kilkea on November 30 last.
Garda Sergeant David Hanrahan added that the suspected haul, was found following a search conducted on the property by gardaí.
As directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) were not ready on the latest court date, Judge Zaidan adjourned the case to June 20, to allow time for DPP directions.
The judge remanded both Mr Quinn and Mr Carmody on continuing bail until the case resumes.
