A drone survey across the road network in the town of Monasterevin will begin tomorrow.
Kildare County Council (KCC) said in a statement released today: "KCC intend to carry out traffic surveys at two junctions and a drone survey across the road network in Monasterevin town.
"The junctions include the Dublin Road (R445)/Athy Road (R417) junction and the junction at the new entrance to St Paul's Secondary School on the Athy Road (R417)."
KCC continued: "A number of cameras will be temporarily installed at the junctions as part of the traffic surveys which will take place on Tuesday, January 16.
"Also, as part of the traffic surveys, a drone survey will be carried out across the road network in the town between Tuesday, January 16 and Thursday, January 18."
KCC concluded its statement by saying that it wishes 'to apologise for any inconvenience caused during this period.'
