The announcement about the power outage was made by ESB Networks.
A total of 417 people have been left without power due to Storm Isha in Newbridge.
According to the ESB, the outage is currently affecting residents near the Great Connell and Old Connell areas of the town.
Commenting on the loss of power, the ESB said: "We apologise for the loss of supply.
"We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible."
The ESB added that the fault is estimated to be fixed by 7pm tonight.
