Kildare County Council gives notice of watermain rehabilitation works

The council also said that the scheduled night works will not result in any changes to the traffic management plan currently in place on the Kilcullen Road between Murtagh’s Corner and Ballymore Road.

Kildare County Council gives notice of watermain rehabilitation works.

The council said in a statement: "As part of the Kilcullen Road Active Travel Scheme, watermain rehabilitation works will be taking place which may cause supply disruptions to Main Street Naas, Sallins Road, Saint Corbans Lane, Ballymore Eustace Road, Naas and surrounding areas in County Kildare.

"Works are scheduled to take place from 10pm on January 24 until 6am on January 25."

The council continued:"Uisce Éireann recommend that you allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return.

"Further information and updates relating to the water supply disruption can be found at the following website: https://www.water.ie/?map=supply-and-service-updates&id=KLD00072951"

"The scheduled night works will not result in any changes to the traffic management plan currently in place on the Kilcullen Road between Murtagh’s Corner and Ballymore Road."

The council concluded its statement by saying that it 'apologises for any inconvenience, but (we) are delighted to be progressing this scheme through construction.'
