A motorist in County Kildare as been charged for driving three times over the legal limit for alcohol consumption.
According to a post from the official Garda Traffic account on X / Twitter: "Naas Roads Policing were out at a checkpoint this morning when they pulled over a motorist who failed their roadside breath test.
"The driver was almost three times over the legal limit for alcohol consumption."
"The motorist has now been charged, with court to follow," the account added.
