Gardaí based in County Kildare have arrested a driver speeding at 160 kilometres per hour in an 80kph zone.
According to the official Garda Traffic account on X / Twitter: "The Naas Roads Policing Unit were carrying out speed checks recently when they detected this car over taking at 160kh in an 80kph area.
"They were stopped and the driver was arrested for dangerous driving."
The account added: "Court is to follow."
