ESB Networks have again come under fire at a Naas Municipal District meeting.
“You can’t contact them,” Cllr Fintan Brett said, adding that when someone does get through the first question asked is “who gave you my number.”
He asked Kildare County Council to confirm the approximate waiting times ”to agree planned ESB outages to facilitate the removal of overhanging branches in this area.”
Cllr Brett added: “They ailitate the removal of overhanging branches in this area.”
KCC says it is “currently waiting over are a law unto themselves” and he said people are left waiting for “months and months” to get electricity connections.
Cllr Brett previously said it is outrageous that it should take this long and he also complained about the high prices charged by the company for services.
“Somebody in government needs to take them in hand,” he stated.
