More services are needed in Kildare village as population rises

Better facilities are required

More services and facilities are needed in a local village as the population increases.

Naas Mayor Bill Clear has asked Kildare County Council what plans “are in place to facilitate greater community facilities” in Kill.

He pointed out that the population there has reached 4,000.

He said that extra school places are needed along with doctors’ surgeries, creche places, parks and a community centre - but improvements should not be limited to these.
