Changes could be underway for one site located within the town of Naas.
Applicant Monastery Square Limited is seeking permission from Kildare County Council to make the changes to St Patrick's Monastery, which is located on the Friary Road in Naas.
The company has a registered address given as Lawlor's Hotel, Poplar Square, Naas East, Naas, and specialises in the 'development of building projects,' according to the business information website SoloCheck.ie.
The proposed changes consist of eemoving the existing concrete post and chicken wire fencing along the southern boundary a length of 82 metres, along the lane that leads onto Friary Road, and the construction of 2,210mm high ornate metal railings and pillars a length of 96m (includes the entrance curves).
Planning permission is also being sought for the construction of a new 8m wide vehicular recessed entrance and gate onto the lane leading to Friary Road and all associated site works.
In addition, a change of use is being sought by Monastery Square Ltd for the existing vehicular entrance onto Friary Road to a pedestrian entrance.
The date received on the application is listed as February 8 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as March 13 and April 3 last.
