A fundraiser for a Kildare-based domestic violence support service will take place this weekend at Kilcullen Community Centre.
An organiser for the event said: "Burkes Pharmacy Group, in collaboration with Teach Tearmainn, are holding a fundraiser event this Sunday.
"Teach Tearmainn desperately need funding to continue to support their services in Kildare and West-Wicklow; working to end domestic violence and support those that need to use their services "
They continued: "We would like to raise as much funding as we can and would very much appreciate it if you could attend on the day.
"More awareness of what Teach Tearmainn do in Kildare and Wicklow to support domestic violence sufferers is vital in helping to work towards ending domestic violence in our community."
The event will take place on Sunday, March 3 at 11am.
Participants are encouraged to meet at 10.30am.
