There is still no sign of a new playground for Straffan.
Kildare County Council made the announcement in response to a question about the delivery of the playground, which was made by Labour Party Cllr Angela Feeney at the latest Clane-Maynooth Municipal District meeting.
The council also told Cllr Feeney that it would need to identify a budget to deliver the playground for Straffan.
