Two vehicle theft incidences in Athy are currently under investigation by members of An Garda Síochána in County Kildare.
When asked about the incidences by the Leinster Leader, a garda spokesperson said about the first incident: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of theft from a vehicle that occurred at a house in Athy, County Kildare on March 2, 2024.
"A sum of cash was taken from the vehicle."
They continued: "No arrests have been made.
"Investigations are ongoing."
Regarding the second incident, the same spokesperson had this to say: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of theft from a vehicle that occurred at a house in Athy, County Kildare on March 2, 2024.
"It is believed that nothing was taken at this time."
They continued: "No arrests have been made."
The spokesperson concluded: "Investigations are ongoing."
