Dozens of new truck parking spaces, in addition to new regular car parking spaces, have been proposed for one County Kildare site.
Applicant George Dennison is seeking planning permission from Kildare County Council to construct the spaces at Ladytown in Naas.
Specifically, Mr Dennison is seeking permission to construct: 65 new truck parking spaces, 10 new car parking spaces and two newpull-in areas, in lieu of an industrial unit previously granted under planning permission Pl Ref 20/434.
He is also seeking permission for the construction of toilet facilities and plant/store room building (70.84 square metres) to the North East of the site, in addition to permission for the construction of interior access roads, site lighting, infrastructure, landscaping and boundary treatment.
Lastly, planning permission is being sought by Mr Dennison for all associated site development works.
The date received on the application is listed as March 11 last.
The submission-by and due dates are listed as April 14 and May 5 respectively.
