Theft from retail premises near Kildare town under investigation by gardaí

A theft from a store located near Kildare town is under investigation, according to gardaí.

When asked about the incident by the Leinster Leader, a garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí received a report of an incident of theft from a retail premises on the Nurney Road in County Kildare that occurred at approximately 1.30pm on March 6, 2024.

"No arrests have been made."

"Investigations are ongoing," the spokesperson added.

Garda Mark Connolly of Celbridge Garda Station told KFM Radio yesterday morning that the theft occurred at a store located within the Kildare Village Retail Outlet.

He added that anyone with information about this incident can ring Kildare Garda Station at (045) 527 730.
