Laois Gardaí have given an update on their investigation into the shock incident of a crash in a St Patrick's Day parade that injured two people.
They say "no arrests as yet" have been made.
A car had collided into the back of a miniature steam engine and trailer taking part in the parade on Main Street on the morning of St Patrick's Day, March 17.
A woman and a child were hospitalised.
A video of the shocking incident was shared on social media.
A Laois Garda spokesperson gave an update to the Leinster Express / Laois Live.
"An investigation is ongoing. No arrests as yet," they said.
The parade organisers gave a brief comment on the incident.
"It's with the guards. No further comment," a spokesperson told the Leinster Express on Monday, March 18.
The parade was one of some 14 to take place accross Laois on St Patrick's Day, March 17.
