Less than 3% of council's accommodation is without tenants

Only 2.4% of Kildare County Council's homes are empty

Some 2.41% of Kildare County Council's housing stock is vacant.

KCC owns 6,402 properties across the county.

A total of 154 of these are empty, with 112 in need of major work while 42 require minor works.

In the Naas area alone, some 16 properties in Naas town are in need of major work, followed by Sallins (two) and Ballymore Eustace and Kill (one each).

Four properties in Naas need minor work along with two in Sallins.
