PopUpArt Newbridge has launched its free Easter 2024 exhibition in Newbridge's very own Whitewater Shopping Centre.

Eilis Kavanagh, the leading creative mind behind PopUpArt Newbridge, said about the new exhibition: "We are delighted to advise that, following on from our very successful St Patrick’s weekend exhibition and due to demand, we have re-opened our Gallery shop in the Whitewater Shopping Centre, Newbridge for the Easter Weekend, with effect from today (Thursday, March 28).

"Our new location they can be found in the Gallery Shop which is on the first floor in the Whitewater Shopping Centre, beside Starbucks Café and opposite the Odeon Cinema."

Eilis continued: "This community exhibition comprises an eclectic collection of work by 10 talented Kildare-connected artists of all levels and genres, with work ranging from sustainable mixed media, oil and digital work to some wonderful pieces of bog oak, so if you are in the area.

"You are invited to pop in and view this collection and chat with the artists on duty, and maybe purchase something for yourself or the art lover in your life.

"We are delighted to be bringing this fresh new exhibition, to the people of Newbridge, County Kildare and further afield."

"In addition to the 'walk-in' exhibition, you can view the exhibition and details of the exhibiting local artists on the group's virtual online gallery: popupartnewbridge.com."

She concluded: "We at PopUpArt Newbridge would like to take this opportunity of thanking all our supporters in this community exhibition, with specific reference to the management and team at the Whitewater Shopping Centre for inviting us back to exhibit in their wonderful space and their continued support to art in the community."

The exhibition will run until Monday, April 1.

"Its objective is to support and enable 'Kildare-connected' artists the opportunity to showcase their work to wider audiences than previously available to them," she added.

To date, the group has offered over 300 local Kildare-connected artists the opportunity to exhibit with them.

Anyone who is interested in exhibiting with PopUpArt Newbridge can email popupartnewbridge@gmail.com — make sure to include your details and two visuals of your work.
