Call for a footpath to be provided linking estates

But there's an issue over funding

Kill village

A footpath should be provided to link two residential areas in Kill.

This is needed between the Kilheale and Glendara estates in Kill, says Cllr Fintan Brett.

Kilheale, he told a Naas Municipal District meeting, is the largest estate in Kill with up to 300 homes.

He said the path is needed for children going to and from school.

Naas Mayor Bill Clear asked whether  developer Cavan Developments “would step up and do it” given the prices charged for houses there.

Kildare County Council said it would assess the request but funding will need to be available.
