Award-winning actor pops into Kildare café and poses for selfies with staff

An award-winning actor popped into The Piers Café in Moone this week. 

Seamus O'Rourke, who has appeared on the Late Late Show in the past, posed for selfies with staff at the popular community hub near the Moone High Cross monument in south Kildare. 

The Café tweeted a photo of O'Rourke and said: "Delighted to meet Award winning writer, actor, director and Leitrim boy Seamus O'Rourke.
"He was working with John and Angela MacKenna’s writers group, Croi Anu.
"Love his stuff. Check out his work…you won’t be disappointed!"
O’Rourketours Ireland regularly with his own self-penned shows. 
He has over two million hits on YouTube and social media with his collection of short stories, recitations and sketches.
His book Standing In Gaps: A Memoir was published in 2020.
