This year's Bluebells and Buskers 2024 will be rescheduled.
The event began in 2013 as a tribute to the memory of the late Jimmy O'Loughlin, and is one that is suited perfectly for nature and music lovers, walkers, children and families.
Explaining the reason behind the rescheduling, Kildare Senator and Fianna Fáil member Fiona O'Loughlin said: "We were all set for this year’s Bluebells and Buskers, but unfortunately the weather wasn’t!
"Having checked the fields that are used for parking again, they are simply too wet to use."
She continued: "Without adequate and appropriate parking for a proper traffic management system there would be chaos.
"It is with great regret that we have taken the decision not to go ahead on Sunday, May 5, but will reschedule for the June bank holiday weekend Sunday, June 2.
Senator O'Loughlin added: "Sadly, the bluebells will be gone, but we can promise great entertainment and craic!"
