The announcement was made by Kildare County Council.
Diversions are in place as road works are currently taking place on the Athgarvan Road.
Kildare County Council (KCC) has said road resurfacing works have commenced on the R413 Athgarvan today, Monday, May 20, 2024.
"Local access will be maintained," KCC said: "Diversions are in place."
"We apologise for any inconvenience these road works may cause," KCC concluded.
