An Garda Síochána (AGS) is investigating an aggravated burglary incident in Sallins.
Garda Aidan McGuane discussed the incident on KFM earlier today.
He explained that the 'very serious' incident took place in the Millbank Square area of Sallins on Tuesday, June 4 last, sometime between 9.30am and 1pm.
Gda McGuane said that three men entered into an apartment in this area and assaulted a woman.
"These men also ransacked the apartment, and took passports, cash and other documents," he added.
Gda McGuane concluded by saying that anyone with information should contact Naas Garda Station on 045 884 300.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about the incident, a spokesperson for AGS said: "Gardaí received report of an incident of aggravated burglary that occurred on June 4, 2024 in Millbank Square, Sallins, County Kildare.
"No injuries were reported."
"Investigations are ongoing," the spokesperson added.
