Surface dressing works to take place across 12 areas within Naas MD, Kildare County Council announces

Traffic management will be in the form of: road closure, diversion, local access only.

A number of surface dressing works will commence across the Naas Municipal District next week.

Kildare County Council (KCC) has said that the following locations will be subject to the works:

  • L2005 Johnstown Village to Johnstown Junction 8 Roundabout  
  • L2014 Johnstown Junction 8 Roundabout to Kill GAA
  • L2011 Kilwarden Roundabout to Porterstown Roundabout
  • L2019 Porterstown Roundabout to Oldmill Junction
  • L6027 Oldmill Junction to Turf Bog Lane
  • L2020 Hartwell Road
  • L2019 Burntfurze T Junction to Arthurstown Landfill Junction
  • L6038 Rathmore to N81
  • L2018 Rathmore Kilteel Junction to Kilteel Village
  • L6034 Johnstown Mayberry to Tipper East Junction
  • L6040 Eadestown (Nunsland)
  • L6029 Cupidstown Hill to County Border

The works will take place from Monday, June 17 until Friday, June 28 (subject to weather conditions).

Working hours each day will be from 9am until 5pm.

KCC said that traffic management will be in the form of: road Closure, diversion, local access only.

"As these works are subject to favourable weather conditions, they are subject to change," KCC added: "Traffic management measures will be in place for the duration of the works.

"Diversion routes will be clearly signposted."

KCC concluded: "Your co-operation is appreciated and any inconvenience caused is regretted."
