Multiple drivers were caught speeding by Gardaí in north Kildare, as part of a roads policing operation at Kilcock recently.
Gardaí revealed in a post on X that six drivers were caught speeding in the operation which was conducted by gardaí from Naas.
One of the motorists caught speeding also had an unrestrained child in their car.
Gardaí also seized a vehicle in the operation, as a learner driver was caught driving unaccompanied and had their car seized.
Fines and penalty points were issued to all drivers caught in the operation.
In reaction to a post by gardaí about the fines and penalty points, one local said the driving around the area "is dreadful, and it "needs a lot of focus".
