Fined for verbally abusing gardaí on the Curragh Road in County Kildare

A man was fined by a Naas District Court judge on Thursday, June 27 last for verbally abusing gardaí on the Curragh Road.

Adam Ciecko, with an address listed as Casa Mia Stables in Kildangan, Monasterevin, was convicted of a public disorder offence by Judge Desmond Zaidan.

It was heard that on June 15 last, the 47-year-old had engaged in threatening and abusive behaviour towards gardaí.

Garda Sergeant David Hanrahan, who was present in court on the date in question, added that Mr Ciecko was intoxicated at the time of the offence.

Judge Zaidan fined Mr Ciecko €500 for the offence.

He gave Mr Ciecko three months to pay this fine.
