An Garda Síochána (AGS) is investigating an incident of burglary at a Kildare town building which is used by the Scouts as a den.
Garda Jonathan Ryan told KFM about the incident on the morning of Wednesday, June 26 last.
He said that a burglary occurred at the Presentation Convent building sometime between 3.30pm on Friday, June 21 last and 9am on Tuesday, June 25 last.
Gda Ryan noted that the building is used by the Scouts as a den.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about the incident, a spokesperson for AGS said: "Gardaí are investigating a burglary at a premises on Meadow Road, Kildare town which was reported on Tuesday, June 25,2024."
The spokesperson added that investigations are ongoing at present.
