Irish Rail / Iarnród Éireann services between Clonsilla and Maynooth were suspended last night, following a tragic incident.
According to Irish Rail's official account on X: "(The) 19:05 Sligo Heuston has been involved in a tragic incident in the vicinity of Leixlip Louisa Bridge.
"Services between Clonsilla and Maynooth are suspended for the rest of the night.
"Dublin Bus are honouring rail tickets."
The account added in a comment posted earlier this morning that services for today are set to operate according to schedule.
