Kildare school approved for Special Educational Needs reconfiguration.
Fianna Fáil Senator Fiona O'Loughlin has welcomed confirmation from her colleague Norma Foley, the Minister for Education, that a reconfiguration project to deliver a Special Educational Needs class room at Suncroft National School (NS) has been announced.
Commenting on the news, Senator O'Loughlin, who is also her party's Spokesperson on Education, said: "I was delighted to have received confirmation from my colleague Minister Norma Foley that a reconfiguration project to deliver a Special Educational Needs class room at Suncroft NS has been announced by her school building unit.”
"The project will see a reconfiguration of the school for one Special Educational Needs class and light touches for sensory room for the school."
She added: "This will be a significant project and is a huge endorsement of the whole school community at Suncroft NS and I will continue to work behind the scenes to support this project and indeed many others around South Kildare."
