The site of a coffee shop located in South Kildare may be converted to accommodate a townhouse.

Applicant James Fagan intends to make the changes to Ballitore Market House in Ballitore, Athy, County Kildare.

Mr Fagan has applied to Kildare County Council (KCC) for planning permission.

If approved by KCC, the development would see a change of use of the existing coffee shop with first floor offices (previously granted under planning reference 06/1679) into a residential three bedroom townhouse.

Permission is also being sought for the refurbishment of existing windows, doors and lime render finish, and all associated site works.

The date received is listed as July 10 last.

The submission-by and due dates are listed as August 13 and September 3 respectively.
