Athgarvan's Ella Kenny came from three shots behind on the final day to win the U12 Champion of Champions World Championship in Lough Erne yesterday. Ella was the youngest member of the U12 field and won a three-hole play-off to take home the title.
This huge win comes just five months after the Kildare golfer won the World Junior Golf Championship 2024 in Marbella, Spain. Back in February, Ella came from eight shots back on the final day to finish first by a single stroke to become World Champion and has now added to that success with another massive win.
