A drive-through café in Kildare sustained €3,000 worth of damages following a burglary incident, according to a member of An Garda Síochána.
The incident was discussed on KFM recently by Garda John-Joe O'Connell.
He explained that between Sunday evening and Monday morning last, the perpetrators cost over €3,000 worth of damages to the Kilcullen Tamp and Grind drive-through coffee shop, which is located on the N81 near Ballymore Eustace.
Gda O'Connell added that windows were broken, alarm boxes were pulled off walls and a sum of cash was stolen.
He has appealed for anyone with information in relation to the incident to contact their local garda station.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about the incident, a garda spokesperson had this to say: "Gardaí are aware of an incident of burglary that occurred at a premises in Kilcullen between August 11 and August 12,2024.
"A sum of cash was taken from the property.
"No arrests have been made at this time."
The spokesperson concluded: "Investigations are ongoing."
