Statement on upgrades and alterations to region located in Newbridge released by Kildare County Council

A statement in relation to upgrades and alterations made to region located in Newbridge has been released by Kildare County Council.

Commenting on the changes made, the council said: "Modification works were completed at the junction of L7036 / L7037 at Morristown Cross, Newbridge. 

"As part of these works, the traffic signal controller was upgraded and pedestrian kerbside detection was provided."

Kildare County Council added: "There was also a minor alteration made to the staging of the junction: the approach from Langton Road now runs separately to the approach from Morristown Road."
